Version 2.0.15.1 (beta 38) is currently the latest version of 40tude Dialog. 40tude Dialog's development is currently frozen and no new versions are planned. The database format has changed, and many new bugfixes have been introduced.
Tested on: Ubuntu 6.06 and 6.10.

What works
Everything works flawlessly, there are some really minor issues (some rare refresh trouble when writing a new message - just drag the window out of desktop then again drag it in). Also, decoding of attachments is a little bit slowish sometimes, but Dialog wasn't designed for binary newgroups in the first place. These issues are really minor.
What does not
A minor tweak was required to get posting features to work: the version of Windows has to be Windows 98, otherwise you won't be able to specify in which group you want to send your post (attempt to type in the group's name will result in chinese mumbo-jumbo, obviously broken unicode support when Wine is set to mimic Windows XP). This isn't much of trouble, just run winecfg and add an exception for dialog.exe.
