F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon

What works

Installer works fine, Config.exe and FEARServer.exe seem to work.

What does not

The game itself, FEARMP.exe. At first it complained about a missing d3dx9_27.dll file. After copying it over from a WindowsXP install, FEAR no longer complains, but simply exits silently. Suggestions for debugging would be helpful.

What was not tested

Never tried connecting to or using FEARServer.exe. Just started it up and saw that it ran. Nothing in game could be tested.

Hi, try setting windows version to win98. That might help to get the game up.
