What works

Installing the game works, but patching doesn't in the version I have. I have heard it is possible to patch the game with older versions of wine (Under 0.40). But once the game is patched up to the latest version (1.1), it runs very well. I've been able to make it very far in the game with minimal issues, and I'm very impressed with the compatibility in wine.

So in short:

- Playing through most of the game

What does not

The game runs fine for the most of it (I had to turn it down to the lowest detail to get near-perfect gameplay). But there were some issues that are noticeable throughout the game. They are the following;

- Audio overlaps in conversation

- Game crashes in one of the last chapters (Kid Flash-back, when exiting the room)

- Sometimes choppy frame rates are noticed (very rarely)

- I could not complete the game due to the crashing on the Kid flashback level. I once had gotten beyond that point somehow, but it doesn't work any more.

Additional Comments

I'd love to see the audio problem, crashing problem and the patching problem resolved in the future releases of wine. Because this game kicks so much ass, and I'm sure a lot of users out there would love to see full support for this game.
