What works
Played the through the first campaign, all graphics, video, music and sounds are working.
What does not
The included executable that installs doesn't work likely due to the presence of SafeDisc v4 DRM - using a patched "no CD" executable will overcome this and the game will launch.
Workarounds
Replace the settlershok.exe binary with a patched "no CD" one and the game will launch.

I also ran the game in a VDI, but I believe this could run full screen without too much of a problem.
This install was from a Focus Multimedia retail re-issue.
