What works
You can install.
Workaround for the cdrom problems people have been reporting.
Put in the install cd, run it from a terminal. When it asks you to put in the second CD in the install process, go to the terminal you opened from, Suspend wine (CRTL-Z), then eject the install CD and put the play CD in. Then go to the terminal again, foreground (fg), then mount the play cdrom and the install will find it and continue.
