What works

The game generally works correctly (it is possible to start the game, and play for some time before encountering problems).

What does not

[major *]: saving preferences does not work, and screws up the INI file involved every time the program is run. This means that every time the game is started, the long and not skippable introduction is shown, and every attempt to change the options fails. [major *]: reloading a saved game does not work. [minor]: changing the party name, the character name, or the chain names does not work. [not relevant]: the game suffers from a nasty bug, possibly in some third party software, where after combat, always at the same point, and after some battles, the game sometimes crashes. This has been marked as 'not relevant' since it is a known bug that appears on the Microsoft implementation too. It is possible to work around this bug by saving often, exit and reload. This more or less ensures that the crash does not happen. Alternatively, a no-music version has been made available by the author, where the bug does not seem to happen.
