What does not
I can only hear sound of button menu
What was not tested
a didn't finish a game party, without sound and music, it's too quiet.
RTC3 platinum Steam version Ubuntu 13.10 wine 1.7.7 32 bits AMD radeon 7850 with last catalyst drivers version: 13.11 Beta V9.4 To obtain a bigger resolution than 1024x768, I have to edit the options.txt located in this directory: .wine/drive_c/users/your_profile_name/Application Data/Atari/RCT3 and change the resolution line. You can change the language of the game with translation modules downloadable on this page: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1862845 On the WineHQ I did read there is a workaround for music/sound: convert wma files from this directory: ".wine/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Gold/Music" to mp3. But it doesn't work. I tried to convert them to wav format too, but it doesn't run either. Finally I do a winetricks quartz...still no success.

This is a how-to I posted over on shyguy's world on installing RCT3 when you have an nvidia optimus enabled graphics card.

MP3 background music works fine.
Convert all music in /Atari/RollerCoaster Tycoon 3/Music/ to mp3 using ffmpeg. Then replace .wma with .mp3 in MusicGenre.txt
I will post a more in depth how to tomorrow when i have time.
however i did do a quick test with summerair.wma which is the default music and it seemed to work.
Please note that improving Mac Compatibility for RCT3 is taking a back burner as this game has now been released as a native Mac application as seen here:
