Installing the game from CD (Russian retail). Version 1.1 inside. Patching to 1.1.1, 1.2, 2.1. Configuration applet. Sound works. Video test doesn't. Initialising the LAN server via commandline.
What does not
The game itself. When launched, it says "Driver not installed". After reading game manual I've defined that this error is related to starforce copy protection. Indeed, the wine console output says that it was unable to execute "protect.dll" Tried No-CD patch also, then another protection error appears. After successfully launching LAN server I didn't seen the picture. Instead wine gave errors: "Unhandled vertex processing". Well, the game is D3D7 based, I've tried to use native libs. Still no luck. Advanced tests show that the engine is unable to use Z-buffer with WineD3D renderer.
