Installation; FAQ sidebar help (not main help); can complete a full tax return and save it, including usage of the EasyStep (interview-based) process as well as the more advanced entry directly into tax forms on screen.
What does not
Main help (CHM) didn't work for me, but I researched things on the Internet instead anyway. There are some graphical glitches, too, like multiple minimize/restore/close button sets on windows, or window icons not loading right.
What was not tested
I use ies4linux for IE, and could not get the program to install properly into the standard ~/.wine directory. As per this forum thread I needed to set WINEPREFIX to my ies4linux wine dir, so that QuickTax could find/see IE. After that, everything pretty much worked. As per this other thread I also installed the Mozilla ActiveX Control as well as the Microsoft Visual C++ runtimes, which I got using the installer from here. You may or may not need to do this; I suggest trying to run QuickTax without installing these other two. : http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/forum/viewtopic.php?t=521 : http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/forum/viewtopic.php?p=63 : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259403
