Manga Studio 3.0, the leading manga and comic art software, provides all the essential tools you need to create professional, ready-to-publish pages from start to finish! Manga Studio offers an intuitive interface, and delivers the best suite of ready-to-use screen tones, content and special manga and comic effects for hobbyists, experienced artists and professionals.
Everything, so far as I can tell. I was able to:
- Create new multi-layer files
- Edit existing multi-layer files
- Adjust the properties of both layers and tools
What does not
The installer. Install from CD on a Windows system (XP, in my case) and then copy the entire "C:\Program Files\e frontier" folder to your wine system. After installation, starting up Manga Studio EX will appear to freeze at the splash screen. Enter your serial number on the keyboard and press enter; Manga Studio EX should now start. This will only be necessary the first time you run the program under wine. (You will not see your serial number echoing back to you on the screen. For some reason the window does not pop up in wine. Refer back to the install process under Windows if you get confused about when to type in your serial number.)
What was not tested
Gradients, tones, multi-media inserts or anything from the library files.
Also runs under CrossoverOffice Pro 5.0.3 (which uses wine 20050830), with the same problem that the installer from the Manga Studio EX 3.0 retail CD will not function. See above for manual installation process.
