Anno 1701

What works

starting Anno 1701 with dbghelp.dll from dll-files.com and adding it as native dll in winecfg, and anno patch 1.01. Sound set to alsa with emulate option. Framerate is acceptable at low settings but far away from a smooth gameplay!

What does not

The mini map is black

Getting an acceptable framerate at medium/high graphics settings.

I set OffscreenRenderingMode to fbo and UseGLSL to enabled in regedit also i change my VideoMemorySize from 64mb up to what my graphiccard has. NVIDIA Driver Version: 100.14.11. Kernel: 2.6.20-16

You need a nocd crack. The 1.02 wont work so use the 1.01 one.

Next, use winecfg to make a dll override for the Anno1701.exe. Set dbghelp to native, when the warning comes up just click ok.

Open regedit, visit http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys
and set

OffscreenRenderingMode to fbo
UseGLSL to enabled
If you start from a fresh wine install, you probably have to create these strings first. 
Ingame just deactivate Bloom, as it makes the screen turn black.
If you have Sound Problems, set the sound to mono.
