Additional Comments

Please follow the Instruction "Get Anno 1701 working with wine" under the table to get best perfomance. I chose "Windwos 7" as the emulating system - maybe this helps someone.

HowTo / Notes

Get Anno 1701 working with wine

You need a nocd crack. The 1.02 wont work so use the 1.01 one.

Next, use winecfg to make a dll override for the Anno1701.exe. Set dbghelp to native, when the warning comes up just click ok.

Open regedit, visit http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys
and set

OffscreenRenderingMode to fbo

UseGLSL to enabled

If you start from a fresh wine install, you probably have to create these strings first.

Ingame just deactivate Bloom, as it makes the screen turn black. If you have Sound Problems, set the sound to mono.
