Although it runs fine on maximum settings it has some lag especially when you zoom out.

You need a nocd crack. The 1.02 wont work so use the 1.01 one.
Next, use winecfg to make a dll override for the Anno1701.exe. Set dbghelp to native, when the warning comes up just click ok.
Open regedit, visit http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys
and set
OffscreenRenderingMode to fboUseGLSL to enabled
If you start from a fresh wine install, you probably have to create these strings first.
Ingame just deactivate Bloom, as it makes the screen turn black. If you have Sound Problems, set the sound to mono.
