initially could not log on to a TeamSpeak server, TeamSpeak hangs with 100% cpu.
fix:

get riched20.dll & riched32.dll from a windows xp system, place in wine system32 & select them using Wine system config tool rather than default built-ins.

Note

Reasons why people were loading TeamSpeak2 Client through Wine

1. To circumvent the reliance of TS2 on OSS(free) and avoid problems AOSS wrapping at one time had.

As far as I have been able to ascertain, AOSS now works better for the TS2 Linux Client.

2. To handle Push-To-Talk issues with the TS2 Linux client.

I will endeavour to list here ways to correct this problem with work-arounds and/or solutions.

3. To make use of the MS-SideWinder-GameVoice-Accessory.

There is a Linux driver for this device and I will provide a link to download the source.
