DirectDraw HAL (Direct3D), default setting in the video configuration, causes some missing sprites in game. The game with this configuration can't be played well. Also the game gives this error, by launching it from terminal: err:module:import_dll Library glide2x.dll It is necessary to install a glide wrapper, with winetricks on a terminal: $ winetricks glidewrapper Then, a new option will appear in the video setting of the game, one called: 3Dfx Custom Driver, select it and the game will run properly, and the error related to glide2x.dll would not be shown again. Also it is sending this error message by launching the game on terminal: err:module:import_dll Library sgl.dll Just, ignore it.
