here there is a quake engine compiled for linux
simply download the lastest version + 1.41 update data, then put in the main folder all SP_PAK?.PK3 stolen from a RTCW CD-ROM or ISO IMAGE, and voilà ...

If you notice the crash during game start, it could be caused by issue in AMD/Mesa drivers.
To workaround it, run the game with following environment variables set:
