Although 3d acceleration crashed the game as soon as you started a mission still rating platinum as the 3d isn't on by default and is there as an added bonus. I did have trouble with some of the in-flight menus sticking but I don't have a proper flight stick at the moment, tested with a playstation controller and I had to hammer the buttons to get out so laying the blame there rather than on Wine. The launcher program needs to detect a joystick before it will launch the game
