On Ubuntu Hardy Heron (Linux kernel 2.6.24, with wine 0.9.59) Lock-On works but requires the following native (Windows) DLLs to be copied from a Windows (XP) installation:
Joystick (Saitek X-45) works for most axes (but one rotational control doesn't work).
Was able to install (in Wine) from an original LockOn 1.0 CD, and then run the 1.0 to 1.0.2 patch program successfully.
