Additional Comments
I would like to thank everyone who has ever worked on the Wine project. I would also like to thank all the many people who have posted in various places on the net how to get Wine to work. I could not have done this on my own. (admin:rating changed to reflect experience) --- Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx - released in April 2010 I installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx . I did not update it. Then in Software Sources. Software sources > Other Software ( then include this text ) http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu . Then make sure you put a check mark next to the entry. Then from Synaptic Package manager I selected Wine 1.2 I then downloaded and installed Wine 1.2 and all recommended related packages through the Synaptic Package Manager and installer. I then opened a terminal window and ran these commands: 1.) wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks 2.) sh winetricks corefonts vcrun6 I then downloaded the tunnel client. I installed the tunnel cilent using the Wine installer in the pull down menu. It is listed as Uninstall Wine Software < Don't know why. I then created a launcher. Worked like a charm for both the Free and High Bandwidth service.

In order for HTTP-Tunnel to run correctly, you must install the MS Core Fonts and the Visual C++ 6.0 runtime. The easiest way to do this is via Dan Kegel's winetricks script.
Open a terminal window and run these commands:
1.) wget http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
2.) sh winetricks corefonts vcrun6
If the application fails to install after this step, ensure that you are using the most recent version of Wine or the last known version of Wine that didn't break this application.
If you still need help, file a bug report or something.
