Install correct richedit version, as otherwise this version of powerpoint will not pass the starting splash screen: I have experienced problems (eg no clipart and no paste special anymore the riched20 from winetricks) winetricks riched20 I now use older versions: 443392 2007-02-17 07:03 ..../windows/system32/riched20.dll 3584 2001-10-20 21:00 ..../windows/system32/riched32.dll To avoid problems in the file/open menus, run the following command before running this application: winetricks cc580. The latest winetricks can be obtained from http://winezeug.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/winetricks
