What works

From the initial testing I've done, the program seems to work properly.

I was able to licence the software (this involves entry of a Sage supplied licence code, which generates a key which has to be given to Sage, who then give an activation code over the phone).

I was able to view data on screen, enter journals, enter accountancy information, modify system settings.

I could generate financial statements.

What does not

I was unable to test printing of reports.

Whether this is a mistake by me in configuring Wine, or an application problem I don't know, when I try to print any reports from within the package, I get an error that no printers have been set up yet.

At some point, I'll get round to trying another application and whether I can get that to work to identify whether its my fault or a Wine problem.

Additional Comments

This is my first attempt at installing a previously unlisted application under Wine, so apologies if my descriptions or testing isn't up to standard. The installation worked, but only by running the install file manually, the automated install selected from the developers install system caused the system to halt. I've given a Bronze rating because although the application seemed to work for normal use & I didn't notice any major issues, I don't want to rate it as Silver as I've nothing to compare it with yet and there could well be issues that come to light the more I test it.
