First install the game. That part was pretty straight forward.

Next install the 1.2 patch.

Download a no-cd exe. Rename civctp.exe to civctp.bak and copy over the no-cd exe. This is in the folder Activision\Civilization-Call To Power\ctp_program\ctp\

Configure Wine. Make it run in it's own window, no widescreen resolutions because it will just go back to a 4:3 resolution.

Note that the shortcut does not work. Don't know why, but I tried everything. To run the Civ you need to open up the console. Type "wine /home//.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Activision/Civilization-Call\ To\ Power/ctp_program/ctp/civctp.exe" without the ". Alternatively you can write that line in a file, set it as executable, and just double click it to run the game so you don't have to do so much typing. Also you can go through all the folders and double click the civctp.exe file in the ctp folder to run the game.

 To get multiplayer gaming going in this game you have to download and replace 3 dll files in Civilization's Program Files folder. Download the files here (http://apolyton.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=101404&d=1112741693). There are instructions in the ZIP to tell you what to do, so just follow that.
