What works
All functions seem to work while running Turbocash on Linux ubuntu 6.10 desktop with Wine installed . I was able to print reports, update transactions index database files, adjust inventory , backup data ,run reorder report ,purchase goods, add and edit inventory items, edit cost of goods and(import stock items which is a key function if migrating from another accounting package.)
What does not
Once wine had completed the installation process there was no icon to start Turbocash on my desktop or for that matter anywhere in my menu area. This is a common problem with certain linux os versions and one must use the terminal window to start Turbocash in a manual format. example : cd ~/.wine/drive_c/TCash3 sudo wine tcash3 Note I had to use sudo in order to have permission to start that file. I know some more advanced programmers have setup a script to start Turbocash with a desktop icon but I was unable to do so up to this point.
Workarounds
What was not tested
I believe all functions work.

Additional Comments
I did not test Turbocash with older versions of Wine.
