Loading and saving of reference lists, bookmarks, snapshots, and lessons (other than quick look at advanced less on Hebrew OT).
Does not require DLLs, so Gold rating is not appropriate. It works far better than the description for Silver. I would consider it Platinum if it weren't for the search and nullpointer problems. I don't have access to actual Gatesware, so I can't see whether application behavior might differ between Gatesware and Wine. The drop-down menus for look-up by title, book, chapter, and verse seemed finnicky. Many times, I had to enter book names by typing the first several characters rather than mousing the list. Standard mode uses wcSView.exe. Resource mode uses wcView.exe.

Due to the considerable age of this application and the much newer
web-based methods to access scriptural content making it highly questionable whether this page would be useful to anyone, maintenance of this AppDB page has been suspended. A comment was posted in August, 2013 asking whether anyone still uses this application, and there has been no response.
If anyone does use this application, please post a comment. If anyone does use this application, I'll probably resume regular testing with new versions of Wine. (If someone else wants to be a maintainer of this page, I won't be opposed.)
