What works

Installs

I tried installing IE6 first and then installing PhotoImpact 12 but it would fail every time. It installed fine if nothing else was installed first.

All the "basic" tools on the toolbar I tried work except for the text tool.

What does not

Text tool crashes the program consistently every time. It seems like will work for a few seconds and you can type some text, then the program freezes.

Will not "Save As" - You can save a file you have opened by clicking on the disk icon but if you go to File > Save As , the save dialog comes up but it won't allow you to save.

Tools on the "Effects" and the "Web" menus were not tested.

Additional Comments

PhotoImpact 10 installs and seems to work very good except for some minor issues, so I'm sure we can get PhotoImpact 12 working also. I gave it a bronze rating because I think rating it "Garbage" is a little harsh when it is so close to working condition.
