After around 10 hours of gameplay, I'd say 95% of the features work, with the exceptions listed below. The upgrade from Wine 0.9.31 to 0.9.33 showed remarkable improvement on fog and smoke, as they no longer show with a big, opaque, and white rectangle in front (which was especially bad for foggy stages, and just plain annoying while drifting).
What does not
The transparency mask on certain objects does not work properly, such as with ghost cars and traffic cones. It is never actually ON the object, but misplaced elsewhere on the screen, which is pretty annoying. However, if you turn off "Ghost Cars" in the "Settings" menu, the effect is negligible.
A bigger problem occurs immediately upon advancing a stage, and is also related to transparency. Nothing is visible after crossing the "Time Extended" line except your car, other cars, and the background bitmap. In other words, you can't see the road, making it very difficult to drive. However, the effect only lasts a few seconds, and once you get the hang of "aiming" at the other cars, it is only a bit more difficult to win races than with an otherwise perfect rendering.
What was not tested
I have not had the opportunity to test roughly 50% of the levels.
