An air combat MMOG with a futuristic feel and unintentionally humorous story.
Installing the game, automatic updates, and logging in. I had tried this game sometime earlier, with an earlier version of Wine (0.9.20, give or take a few revisions, I don't recall which one) and I can say with a fair degree of certainty that updates and log in working is recent (the earliest Wine I've tested this successfully with is 0.9.30, though I haven't tried since at least the earlier 0.9.20s). Progress!
Note: though I never actually get past logging in (see: What does not work), I do know that log in actually works since, shortly after failure to get to--and past--the splash screen after log in, trying to log in from a different, Windows-running machine throws up 'duplicate log in' errors.
What does not
Starting to actually play a game. The splash screen after log in never comes up, nor does the 3d character selection screen after that, as it freezes up. The console throws off interesting errors like:
"fixme:d3dxof:IDirectXFileDataImpl_GetType (0x23a1380/0x23a1380)->(0x32382c) stub !"
"fixme:d3dxof:IDirectXFileEnumObjectImpl_GetNextDataObject (0x269ff80/0x269ff80)- >(0x323864) stub!".
Must be some kind of 3d/Direct X thing.
