Mouse hits screen borders - see the bug thread. Somebody posted a patch; it fixed the issue. In certain areas, game hangs almost continuously (usually with water around). Shadows look problematic. Recommended to enable blob shadows in the .ini file (grep for it).

The Olivia branch of the game (Save Olivia; Ethan as boss). I have no reason to believe that it would work any differently.

If the game hangs more than twice in the same spot, the best thing to do is just activate time slowdown and try to run through (don't fight any enemies). You may have to try a few times. It can help to delete the intro movie (glyphxlogo.bik) to save some time. The Alienware bit isn't a movie file; don't search for it :)
