What works
Gets through Opening movies flawlessly, and enters the main menu. game will play so long as the graphic settings dont have particles to maximum.
What does not
This does not work without a no CD crack as the copyright protection is not supported by wine. there is also graphic corruption on the menu textures. Sometimes parts of the menus will fade in and out. They don't lose their functionality, they are just difficult to read at that point.

Additional Comments
The graphic corruption on the menus is bearable as the game for the most part is turn based. this would be unacceptable otherwise. I toyed with various settings trying to get rid of it to no avail. I also used wine-doors 0.1 in conjunction with my wine install. wine-doors is a windows program package manager for those unfamiliar with it that can install libs, and programs commonly used in windows programs into your wine folder, given that you have the right credentials to use them (a valid windows license.) this may contribute to why things went a little smoother for me with SOTS than the previous tester.
