Additional Comments

Cursor stuck in the window
- Run winetricks mwo=disabled

"Insert play CD" error message
- Create a virtual CD drive in winecfg, pointing to the game directory.
- This is also needed for the GOG version.

Textures missing
- Update to a recent version of wine.
If that's not an option, open flux.ini to [fcGraphicsDeviceD3D] and change the texture_quality to 0.

Crash during world load
- Remove the mods section in flux.ini. If you have non-existant mods in there, it may crash the game.

Screen not properly updating
- Update to wine-1.3.18. Alternatively, try disabling your window compositor (Compiz/KWin Effects).

The game freezes when someone talks
- Run winetricks quartz
- If that didn't work, also run winetricks devenum

The game freezes in main menu
- Disable the winegstreamer library:
- Run winecfg, got to the "Libraries" tab - Add a new override for "winegstreamer" and set it to disabled.

Game randomly crashes during loading
- Rename/Delete the file loading.mp3 from streams/audio/music in the game's directory.

I can't connect to a Multiplayer match
- Run winetricks directplay

My game behaves weird, I can't shoot and things explode all the time
- This is a bug of the game which occurs on systems with European language settings.
Europe uses a "," as a thousands delimiter, but the game needs a "." for that (USA style). Otherwise, it will corrupt the flux.ini.
Make sure you have a non-corrupted flux.ini and start the game like this:
LC_ALL="c" wine ./bin/release/loader.exe
