What works
Installation seems to work. It may take a while to load the MSI. Run the autoexec.exe first, then select the install option. Sit and wait for the installer to load. May take a few minutes.
What does not
After installation you can run the game. At the first run it prompts you regarding security protection (StarForce). If you continue at this point (as I have done) the game will not run.
I have downloaded the No-CD patch to no avail as well.

I haven't tested installing and declining to install the copy-protection.
