All gameplay, saving & loading, sound, loading animations, etc.
The vast majority of the glitches and slight hangs I encountered were present in the original game as well- it was not exactly the most polished piece of software even in 1995.
What does not
Graphics are a bit wonky, including some odd color rendering and the slowdown when on-screen text is displayed that has been mentioned. It's noticible, but does not impede gameplay, and the graphics in the game are pretty archaic to begin with.
The biggest issues is that the on screen buttons in the hangar sequences are blank, no text even on mouseover. They appear to function properly, though.
What was not tested
Loading a user-made sim city 2000 map, joystick.
Tips: -The setup.exe file in the top directory of the cd was broken for me, gave a "setup2.exe not found or broken" error. The workaround is to go directly to the setup2.exe file in the setup directory and execute that instead. -During installation it will try, and fail, to install directx, you can safely ignore this. Execute the program with the "-opengl" tag instead. -Even if you do the full install the cd must be in the drive and accessible by wine to play it (primitive drm?), so if you haven't already, make a symlink to that drive: ln -s /media/cd/ ~/.wine/dosdevices/d: , replacing /media/cd/ with the mountpoint of your cdrom drive (i.e. /mnt/cdrom etc). If you don't do this, you will get an error trying to run it.
