What works
All program functions tested work fine. Opening emails, synchronization with server, etc.
What does not
I was having the same problem as David in the openSUSE 12.1 x86_64 comment.
Initially there was a problem with the configuration/setup wizard being blank, or showing blank screens when setting up. I fixed this by going into winecfg and in the libraries section adding a new override for riched20.dll
Just select it from the menu, click OK and problem solved. Evidently this also fixes the problem with Powerpoint crashing as well (see below):
