Installation works, almost all gameplay (but that can be fixed), everything else works perfectly well.
What does not
Mouse only turns 180 degrees, which is both noticeable in the menu and the game, but if you turn off 'allow the window manager to control the window' in configure wine, there is a way to look 360 degrees. First, one must enter a multiplayer or singleplayer game, then they must enter the setup menu, set the mouse speed to its highest, then set it back to what you want the mouse speed to be. return to the game, and you will be able to look 360 degrees all around. this continues to work until the next time you boot up the game.
What was not tested
I am using 64 bit Ubuntu Jaunty, but i also tested this on ubuntu hardy on a 32 bit computer, and it also works, so im pretty sure this will work with almost all ubuntu versions and on 32 or 64 bit. Admin note: rating changed to conform to the rating definitions.
