with the lastest wine version, wine-0.9.34, it works really great!
- playing: game runs perfect. sound is perfect, graphics are smoth (see below things you must adjust)
- multiplayer: ok
to play you must check some things:
- copy d3dx9_30.dll to your .wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ dir
- remove (if exists) Savegame/device.cfg and launch the game. you must disable Postprocessing. in sound be sure you have also disabled hardware 3D and select Windows Multimedia Waveout. you'll see the model of your audio device (before 0.9.34 i had here hw:0). select your resolution and then on OK.
i've attached a screenshot.
What does not
- installation: i didn't check. i use a nocd cracked version that doesn't need to be installed.
What was not tested
not sure what changes introduce 0.9.34 but this games works perfect. it's worth the platinum. but i think the need for an external dll is a shame. i also have from time to time all the map black, but this is only about 1 on 50 times. ask for further info.
