As stated by others, I had to use a nocd-patch and copy d3dx9_30.dll and dinput8.dll from Windows to the game directory. I had choppy music during the game, but that was fixed by turning on full hardware acceleration for ALSA-sound in winecfg and "Windows Multimedia Waveout" with 3d hardware acceleration in the game setup-screen.
