Textures, polygons, sunlight, smoke, shadow, physics, camera effects, rag doll, fire, particle effects, sound even with effects (narrow ravines and tunnels sound closed versus wide open spaces), enough you won't notice or won't care. With most graphical effects turned off, like glow, it looks fine and will play many levels, not sure what would not work..
What does not
What was not tested
The levels I didn't reach, I played up to the desert level with the high jump and hole in the bridge.
Installed from Steam, I used Winedoors to install steam, but I assume if you can get steam working otherwise, you should get flatout2 working. You can watch demonstrations of Flatout2 on my account at youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/rofthorax it got a 2500 hits and a rating of about 5 stars from 5 people. I'm releasing a demo of Flatout tonight too. Anyhow, when you install it, it will request parameters with a setup window, be sure to not to check the "sound hardware" option.. Also if you have a NVidia card you can set the antialiasing level in "nvidia-settings" and it should appear better.. At 120mph you can't really care about the graphics as the gameplay music and sound is awesome.. I was not disatisfied with the Wine version. Admin note: rating changed to conform to the rating definitions.
