What works

Almost everything, some problems are listed in following section. My opinion is, that the application can be used for normal work.

What does not

  • At startup, there is message
    "Support for "JScript" active scripting not found! Install WSH with requested language support."
    This is causing, that scripts are not working.
    This can be solved by instalation of IE
  • some minor redrawing errors
  • html view is working only when IE is installed (I didn't get it working with Gecko)
  • spellchecking is slowing down scrolling
  • PSPad has no item in main panel

 

Note: Instalation of IE was tested through using configuration directory of ies4linux
