First install the official patch (1.2) and TELPs Patch 1.3a. Both can be found at http://telp.org. The only thing that might be a game killer (depending on your nerves) is the fact that loading of the inventory screen, map, spell book and game menu takes quite to load. During this time it seems as if the game freezes. It unfreezes about 10-15 seconds afterwards showing the desired screen. Same goes for quick save. With the cracked cshell.dll (linked here: http://telp.org/mm9/tavern/anyboard/posts/39819.html) this problem is solved. But on my machine the game then starts to flicker during gameplay. This is even more unnerving than the slight freezes. Thus the bronze rating.
