What does not
-Multi-player doesn't work. I suppose it is some problem with the
network emulation. I will try to test it again and come back with
another test result here. We were able to connect but the connection
timed out and dropped the other party. (My machine was the server. It
did not work the other way around at all.)
-There usually is a "start-up screen" which is a picture in the center of the screen. It doesn't show but the game runs flawlessly.
-Some times the cursor disappears for a short time while in the game. Not a big hassle - it comes back in a couple of seconds.
-The low resolution of the game is a development constraint it is not a bug.
What was not tested
Gold because I haven't tested the Multi-player mode. All that was needed was to mount the two Cds and add them as drives in wine. For my amazement the latter happened automatically. Wine seems to manage loop devices in /mnt.

Note: You do not need a proprietary 3d video card driver (no ati nor nvidia) to play this game. A 2d capable driver is sufficient due to the old graphics ;-)
1. Install game with wine as you would do in windows
2. Patch the game to version 1.05 (regular patch, nocd crack is not needed)
3. Run the game and have fun :-)
Known issues: The mouse cursor does not support moving cursors due to missing ani cursor support in Wine. But you probably won't notice that in the game.
