Current version as of 2/2007. Two-way tool to diagram, design, reverse-engineer, modify and maintain the structure and contents of databases. Supports many databases via ODBC or native drivers: FoxPro, SQL Server, DB2, Firebird, Informix, Interbase, Jet, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Anywhere and Sybase. Can generate create scripts, modification scripts, synchronize model to physical database, migrate model to a new target database, print diagrams and more.

What works

Trial version installs successfully, reads and writes FoxPro models. Crashes when working with other models; likely due to ODBC configuration; further research needed.

What does not

(Non-trial) Version 8.0 hangs at end of installation. Attempting to cancel installation does not work. CPU usage pegs at 100%. Halting installation dialog after a few minutes (kill the processes) and running the application appears all works. Complains "cannot communicate with machnm1.exe!" on startup. Does not display serial number in About dialog. Can successfully register application with resolution and apply registration codes to start. Can manipulate models within the application. Communication via ODBC needs more testing.
