BloodRayne

BloodRayne is a 3rd Person Action game set in the late 30s-early 40s. You are an agent of The Brimstone Society. An organization tasked with the seizure, control, and, if necessary, elimination of supernatural artifacts and beings(Naturally a job this sensitive and discreet requires you to wear skintight pants and a bustiere made of red velvet and black leather.). Soon you're sent to find a relic the Nazis are looking for and all Hell breaks loose.

What works

  • Entire game (acts 1-3 and secret level)
  • Save and Load
  • Cheats
  • Some of the audio

What does not

  • None of the videos play, errors are shown.
  • Voice clips end abruptly; characters stop speaking mid-sentence and start the next sentence, and so on.
  • Sometimes voice clips overlap; a clip would start playing while the previous clip is still playing.
  • Game cannot detect a mounted CD so it cannot start without a patch.

Workarounds

To get the game to start without the CD apply a "noCD" patch to the game EXE file.
