What works

Installation, configuration utility, starting the game, startup videos, menus, including setting changes, starting and playing the game a few minutes.

What does not

The mouse escapes the window without additional tweaking. When switching to focus mode the screen turns black.

Additional Comments

Earlier problems with not displayed characters (among other issues like dialogue) are solved in this version of Wine. For the game to start, it was necessary to use a native d3dx9_36.dll which I got via winetricks. Furthermore the copy protection doesn't work and has got to be circumvented. The mouse problem, which exists in numerous applications, can be mitigated by using a modified dinput.dll.so (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15550).
