What does not
Final part of installation.
What was not tested
Advanced functions / config.
1.Install wine (0.9.49 in my case) 2.Run winecfg - Applications tab - Add Application, and add the installer BCDM_Pro_MBCS_3.95.exe. Then select it and choose Windows 98. 3.Run the instalation exe with wine. ~/wine BCDM_Pro_MBCS_3.95.exe. After entering your name and key it will hang. Just press ctrl + c, then close the two windows with warnings and kill the process. 4.Again in winecfg - Applications tab - Add Application add the program Disk Manager.exe located in ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Broken Cross Disk Manager. Then select it and choose Windows 98. 5. With the Disk Manager.exe selected switch to the Libraries tab in winecfg and add the following ones: mshtml shdocvw shlwapi Then click OK closing winecfg. 5. Now youll need to get that native Windows 98 SE dlls, in my case from a installation with Internet Explorer 6 installed. Copy the following dll's: mshtml.dll shdocvw.dll shlwapi.dll from C:\Windows\System to ~/.wine/drive_C/Program Files/Broken Cross Disk Manager folder. 6. Also you have to install the program in the windows 98 machine first to get the "Disk Manager.dat" file, cause in the installation under wine is not created. Copy that file from C:\Program Files\Broken Cross Disk Manager\ to ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Broken Cross Disk Manager/ folder. 6.Now you can run the program.
