Reports work, printing works. Accessing, adding and updating personal, unit and general information works. Backup and Restore work. Conversion of data from TMME works.
What does not
Have to run the program through winfile. The install fails to allow the creation of a desktop Icon. An alias can be manually created, but causes a program crash when used for some reason. Help doesn’t work. Can’t send email. Double clicking on the activity calendar will occasionally freeze the program. This may be less a freeze and more that the activity management window is opened, but not brought to the front.
What was not tested
Not all reports were tested (just a significant subset).
mfc42.dll (from www.driverskit.net) and VB6 runtime (from Microsoft) were installed prior to installing TM2005. Ran into problems with a bad mfc42.dll corrupting TM2005. This was fixed by uninstalling TM2005, deleting the folder and reinstalling TM2005 once the mfc42.dll had been replaced. The lack of email functionality and help are minor annoyances, the rest of the program is quite useable.
