What does not
Game crashes unless you check the "emulate a virtual desktop" box in winecfg.
CD audio music track would not loop properly on a couple of levels. Track would play once and then the speaker would click. CD had light scratches so this might not be an issue with wine.
What was not tested
The game was very playable the whole way through. The fps sections seemed perfect (light saber too). After setting winecfg to emulate a virtual desktop, the game was completely stable. CD audio clicking was worked around by quick saving, loading a save from a different level (different track), and then reloading the quick save. Hopefully this was just an issue with my cd.

On recent version of wine (0.9.56+) you may experience crashes. To work around this, start the main application like this:
wine jkm.exe -windowgui
To stop regressions occurring in Wine that affect this game, a few test cases need to be written 1. reproduce the ddraw codepath used for the menu system where blitting is done to update parts of the screen, they are redrawn incorrectly, so a test comparing the expected colour value against the updated value is needed 2. probably the hardest, would be a testcase that uses the same 3d acceleration as enabled by the configuration options
