What works

* Installation, though no desktop shortcut icon was placed
* Running the game demo manually via "~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Tropico Demo$ wine TropicoD.EXE" without quotes at the command line
* Gameplay for 15 minutes
* Uninstalling via "wine uninstaller" without quotes

What does not

- Game demo crashed around 15 minutes into gameplay outputing lots of information at the command line from where the game demo was started, information included: wine: Unhandled page fault on read access, starting debugger, Unhandled exception: page fault on read access, Register dump, Stack dump, Backtrace, and Modules, with each having a lot of information following them, too much to paste here.

~ Using NVIDIA Driver Version: 1.0-9631 ~ In testing this demo with previous Wine versions it always worked and I could play the demo from start to finish, but with this Wine version the game crashed on me 15 minutes into gameplay
