iSIS

What works

The ISIS interface and flow solver will successfully install (v. 2.3 - 2.5). The software will work in Demo mode (no dongle required) with some caveats.

What does not

The dongle drivers (Rainbow Tech.) do not successfully install, but the software will happily run in demo mode without them. This means that the software is restricted to a maximum of 100 nodes per model and to steady state flow solutions only.

The installer attempts to set two environment variables which are not preserved and the program will only successfully run if these are present. Starting the program using something akin to the following shell script will work round this.

On some of the results-viewing windows the text is incorrectly rotated which can make it unreadable.

Results can only be saved in certain formats. Attempting to save as WMF, for example, will cause the app. to die.
