What works

Campaign Cartographer 2 Pro Install works as is. I created the tutorial map, saved it, re-opened it. Added text, rivers, city, saved again, closed, re-started. It appears to work correctly.

I applied Universal Upgrade 4 successfully from the same Dungeon Designer disk.

What does not

Also Installed Dungeon Designer 2 , but had to delete IKernel.exe from .wine/drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/InstallInstallShield/Engine/6/Intel\ 32/ because I was getting a permission problem for this file. After doing this, the install completed successfully.

What was not tested

Many things.

Additional Comments

Could be platinum (and I will raise it later if that be the case) but I have not completed testing as yet.

Font Sizes

When opening existing maps, you'll find that the fonts don't render the same size as on Windows.

This can be fixed by changing the font properties of the existing text in the map and unchecking the 'Use New Metrics' option. This should cause the fonts to render the same size (extremely close anyway) as they did on Windows, and they'll still display fine if you open that map in Windows.

You should obviously keep this option off for any new text you place if you want to be able to open the map in Windows and have it look the same.

Thanks to CSANecromancer in the ProFantasy forums for this tip.
