HowTo / Notes

In order to get this game to run you may need to do the following:

  • Add d3dx8.dll as a dll overide under the "Libraries" tab in winecfg.
This dll can be downloaded from a windows machine or located and downloaded online.  Check your ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32 for this dll, if you have d3dx8d.dll or a .dll with a similar name you can rename this dll to d3dx8.dll and it should work just the same.
